Murray Kushner

Chairman

Murray has been a real estate investor and developer for more than 40 years. He is Chairman of KRE Group, the successor company to SK Properties, which he co-founded in 1979 with Eugene Schenkman. Under Mr. Kushner’s leadership, KRE Group has become a fully integrated real estate company, from acquisition through management, and has received over $3 billion in capital investments from leading banks and institutional investors. Murray received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1973 and 1976, respectively.

Jonathan Kushner

President

Jonathan has more than 20 years of real estate investment and management experience. He is responsible for the acquisition and development of all new projects, property management, and leasing of over 12,000 rental apartment units and 6 million SF of office, retail and industrial properties. He oversees the team at KRE Group that is forging ahead with a development pipeline of over 10 million SF of residential and mixed use projects. Jonathan holds a B.A. from New York University and was the recipient of the 2016 SmartCEO Future 50 Award.

Jeremy Kaplan

Chief Operating Officer

Jeremy is responsible for the operation of KRE Group’s portfolio. Prior to joining the KRE Group in 2008, Mr. Kaplan was a Senior Manager at Barr Laboratories. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Brandeis University and his M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business. Mr. Kaplan serves on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations including Yamba Malawi Inc., Nonprofit Share Inc., and JCMC Foundation.

Jeffrey Persky

Executive Vice President

Jeffrey has been a commercial real estate developer and leasing executive for more than 35 years. Mr. Persky joined KRE Group in 1986 and has primary executive responsibility for commercial leasing, property acquisition, and development activities. In this capacity, he oversees the marketing and leasing of the firm’s extensive office and industrial portfolio and the firm’s acquisition and development activities. More recently, Mr. Persky has overseen the assemblage and development of over $2 billion dollars in multifamily high-rise properties in Jersey City, NJ.

Joseph Punia

Executive Vice President

Joseph has been a real estate developer for more than 30 years. During his tenure at KRE Group, Mr. Punia has been responsible for the approval and construction of over 3,500 multifamily units and more than 20 commercial properties. Mr. Punia received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Charles Scheinerman

Executive Vice President

Charles has been a residential real estate developer for more than 35 years and is Executive Vice President of The KRE Group. Mr. Scheinerman has broad expertise in land acquisition, the approval process, construction, sales and property management During the last several years, he has overseen the assemblage and development of over $300,000,000 in multifamily Class A garden apartmentproperties located in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Mr. Scheinerman graduated from Queens College in 1972 where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Darin Raiken

Director of Acquisitions

Darin has been an investment banking and real estate professional for more than 20 years. He is responsible for the sourcing, structuring, and negotiation of real estate acquisitions. Since joining KRE Group in 2007, Mr. Raiken has been involved in the acquisition of multifamily properties and development sites comprising over 5,000 apartment units. Mr. Raiken received his A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College, where he received the Rockefeller Prize in Economics, and his M.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

James Block

Director of Finance

James has been a real estate investment and finance professional for more than 25 years. Since 2002, Mr. Block has been responsible for the sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and closing of real estate debt and equity financings for KRE Group. Over his sixteen-year tenure, Mr. Block has successfully closed over $3 billion in debt and equity financings in more than 100 transactions. Mr. Block received his A.B. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

David Kahan

General Counsel

David has been the General Counsel for KRE Group since 1991. He is responsible for legal representation of the affiliated entities of the company and oversees all legal aspects of the company’s acquisition and development activities, including financings, due diligence, redevelopment, environmental compliance, zoning and land use approvals, condominium structuring, and business entity organization. Mr. Kahan received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgetown University.

Thomas Gough

Director of Construction and Development

Thomas has been a construction professional for over 25 years. Since joining KRE Group in 2007, Mr. Gough has been responsible for the successful land approvals and entitlements of nearly 1 billion SF of commercial and industrial space and more than 500 residential lots. In addition, Mr. Gough has overseen the completion of more than 500 residential apartments. Mr. Gough received his B.S. in Engineering & Business Statistics from Pennsylvania State University and his M.B.A. from LaSalle University.

Noah Chrismer

Director of Planning and Entitlements

Noah has been a real estate professional for over 15 years. Noah is responsible for all aspects of planning and project entitlement, including financial pro forma, acquisition due diligence, project planning, and public land use approvals. Prior to joining KRE Group in 2015, Noah held several positions in the real estate sector including financial advisory site selection, project management, valuation, and community development roles. Noah received a joint MBA/MCP from the Wharton School and the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania, and his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.

Justin Gingeleskie

Director of Leasing

Justin Gingeleskie has been a leasing executive and commercial real estate developer for more than 20 years. Since joining The KRE Group in 2006, Mr. Gingeleskie has been responsible for the deal structuring, negotiation and leasing of KRE’s extensive office, industrial, retail and medical commercial portfolio. Additionally, Mr. Gingeleskie handles asset and property management as well as commercial acquisition. Mr. Gingeleskie received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from The College of New Jersey and his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
