Developers Celebrate Full Lease Up at 351 Marin in Jersey City

A 38-story tower that has added to Jersey City’s evolving skyline recently commemorated a milestone just a few months after opening.

Kushner Real Estate (KRE) Group and Northwestern Mutual were joined by Jersey City mayor Steve Fulop for a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 351 Marin, which began construction in 2019. The development partners say the complex leased up in just five months, with The Marketing Directors overseeing the leasing program.

“When we took office, we really had a pro-development stance because we recognized that a healthy city is a growing city,” said Mayor Fulop during the event. “There aren’t many cities in the state that can absorb two 50-story buildings going up across the street from each other simultaneously.”

Designed by HWKN and HLW Architects, 351 Marin features an angled base to create a backdrop to the 4,000 square-foot plaza that hosted the event. Besides the public space, an Australian-inspired wellness brand dubbed Wattle Café recently opened inside the building’s ground-floor retail space.

“351 Marin continues our longstanding commitment to Jersey City through developments that provide first-class residences, public amenities, and neighborhood retail services near mass transportation,” said Jonathan Kushner, President of KRE Group. “We’re proud to have once again delivered a building that has successfully attracted residents to the area at a historic rate while also building on the unique character and energy Jersey City is known for.”

351 Marin sports a 37th-floor sky lounge that includes a plethora of amenities including a landscaped patio with spectacular views. The development’s eighth floor features an indoor 24-hour fitness center, full entertainment kitchen, movie and screening area, game room, and children’s playroom, while an outdoor terrace includes a pool deck complete with fire pits and BBQ grilling stations.
