JERSEY CITY, NJ – Marin Green buzzed with the joyful sounds of summer on Saturday, July 8th, as Jersey City residents gathered to celebrate Summer Fest 2023.

Presented by The KRE Group, the Jersey City-based developer behind some of the most prolific rental properties in the city, Summer Fest treated residents to a delightful array of food, drink, music, art, games and more, all sourced from local vendors and entertainers. A portion of 8th Street was transformed into a haven for food trucks and a live music stage, while Marin Green brimmed with games and attractions to entertain festival goers.

KRE Group organized the event with a focus on fostering community ties among its residents, the public, and the city’s thriving local businesses and artisans. The company provided shuttle services to and from the festival at all of its residential buildings and welcomed members of the public to attend. The relaxed atmosphere created an ideal setting for guests to mingle, forging new connections with their neighbors.

Jonathan Kushner, President of The KRE Group, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We want to thank everyone in Jersey City who came out to celebrate with us. Special appreciation goes to the local organizations, vendors and entertainers who helped make Summer Fest 2023 an unforgettable day. As a company based in Jersey City and actively engaged in many of its thriving neighborhoods, we are committed to not only serving our residents but also giving back to the entire community. Hosting Summer Fest was a fun way for us to strengthen ties with our residents and form new connections with our neighbors while also showcasing the incredible businesses that make Jersey City such a dynamic place to live.”

The event took place at Marin Green, one of the many public parks and plazas thoughtfully created by KRE Group throughout the city. Opened in 2018 in conjunction with the launch of the developer’s neighboring luxury rental building, 485 Marin, Marin Green features grassy lawns, a children’s playground, a dog park, and several seating areas. The public park is open to the community and is conveniently situated in the Hamilton Park neighborhood. Other public spaces built by KRE Group for Jersey City residents include Morris Square Park in Liberty Harbor North and Magnolia Plaza in Journal Square.

Summer Fest is the latest example of KRE Group’s portfolio-wide effort to introduce innovative programming and services that extend beyond traditional amenity offerings. The company recently launched a comprehensive resident fitness program by Jersey City-based Lloyd Dickenson Fitness at all of its urban buildings and hosts regularly scheduled activities for residents, including pet-friendly events through the Bark Buildings pet concierge program, that contribute to the vibrant community experience KRE Group strives to provide.
